A 23-year-old man was declared dead in hospital after a stabbing in the north end of Saskatoon on Monday.
In a Tuesday news release, city police said patrol officers responded around 8 p.m. to a report of an injured person at a business in the 3900 block of Millar Avenue, and arrived to find a man suffering from stab wounds.
A suspect fled the scene but was located and arrested near Second Avenue South and Spadina Crescent East, the release said said.

A 53-year-old man is charged with first-degree murder.
Members of the major crimes and forensic identification sections are investigating.
Saskatoon police reported 15 homicides in 2024. The current record is 16, set in 2019.
Police recorded 12 homicides in 2023, 13 in 2022, seven in 2021 and 12 in 2020.
