Singer Mika Singh has promised a reward of Rs 1 lakh to Bhajan Singh Rana, the autorickshaw driver who rushed Saif Ali Khan to the hospital after he was stabbed. Not only this, Mika Singh believes that Bhajan Singh should be given a reward of at least Rs 11 lakhs for saving the life of India’s favorite superstar. Taking to his Instagram stories, Mika Singh wrote, “I strongly believe he deserves a reward of at least Rs 11 lakh for saving India’s favourite superstar. His heroic act is truly commendable! If possible, could you please share his contact information with me? I’d like to reward him with Rs 1 lakh as a token of appreciation.”

It was earlier reported that Bhajan Singh Rana initially refused any payment for his act of service. “I was called there (Bandra Police Station) for questioning…I did not think about money that night…I have not been contacted by Kareena Kapoor or anyone else so far. I have not had any conversation with them,” the auto-rickshaw driver told ANI.
As per IANS, after Saif Ali Khan’s surgery was successful, he and his mother Sharmila Tagore met Bhajan Singh to personally thank him.
In another interview, describing the events of the fateful night, Bhajan Singh Rana said, “His back was hurt. I felt very bad because he was bleeding. I had no idea that Saif Ali Khan was sitting in my rickshaw. I thought that some injured person must have been sitting there…When Saif and his son got down from the rickshaw after going to Lilavati Hospital, I realised that the star actor was sitting in the rickshaw.”
