Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin captured the audience with its intriguing plot and has been one of the popular daily soaps. The show is set to take a dramatic leap soon. And, the leads – Hitesh Bharadwaj and Bhavika Sharma – will bid farewell. The makers unveiled the new promo with legendary actress Rekha introducing the fresh storyline. Post leap, Param Singh, Sanam Johar, and Vaibhavi Hankare will replace Hiesh and Bhavika.
The makers released the official promo on YouTube. As mentioned in the teaser, the new story would begin on January 30 at 8 pm. Rekha teased the new storyline for Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. The promo begins with Rekha reciting Mirza Ghalib’s poem, Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi. A brief glimpse into the story shows a rockstar played by Sanam Johar, performing on stage, while his partner, portrayed by Vaibhavi Hankare, cheers for him.
The scene then shifts to Rekha, who speaks of a broken dream and how it forces people to accept reality. As Vaibhavi’s character moves on, she gets married to another man played by Param Singh. Rekha’s voiceover adds how with time Vaibhavi had no choice but to accept her pain. While Vaibhavi’s character is married, she is unable to fall in love with her husband.
Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin will mark Sanam Johar’s TV debut. Speaking to ETimes, he said, “I’m super excited to join the cast of the show. The production house (Cockrow Entertainment and Shaika Films) is amazing. They keep the environment friendly for everyone and me. I’m looking forward to this amazing experience. I have heard so much good about the production and the channel. I have worked with the channel before as well.”
The daily soap had taken a short leap last year with most of the cast being replaced. Bhavika Sharma was retained, and the story took an intriguing turn when she met a young girl and they came close.
