Comedian-writer Bhuvan Bam, who recently appeared on Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, recalled how once a question asked on the quiz show helped his father regain memory. On the Amitabh Bachchan show, Bhuvan Bam was accompanied by other content creators Samay Raina, Bhuvan Bam, Kamiya Jani, and Tanmay Bhat. The episode was filled with humour and interesting stories from the lives of these popular faces.
Recalling his father’s battle with a brain stroke, Bhuvan explained he couldn’t remember any of them. “Main unke bagal mein baitha hun aur woh mujhe keh rahe hain ki mera beta hai Bhuvan. Abhi kahin gaya hai kahin bahar aayega toh main bataunga ki woh kya karta hai (I am sitting next to him, and he is telling me that my son is Bhuvan. He has gone somewhere. When he comes back, I will tell you what he does),” Bhuvan told Amitabh Bachchan. He added that the ailment persisted for roughly one to two weeks before one of the KBC episodes proved to be a miracle.
He said, “Koi purani dilli se related sawaal tha. Baba dekh rahe the aur option aane se pehle unhone jawaab de diya (There was a question related to Old Delhi. My father was watching, and he answered it before the options came up).” Then, Bhuvam stated that with that, he and his father began talking and the latter gradually remembered the actor. After hearing about the incident, Amitabh Bachchan informed him how delighted parents are when their children strive and achieve success in life.
Not too long ago, Bhuvan Bam himself was the subject of a question on the quiz show. The YouTuber posted a snippet from the show on Instagram, saying he was left “speechless” by the experience. The video featured competitor Nazam Nizarali Trikamani on the hot seat. Amitabh Bachchan asked him the Rs 10,000 question, “What is the name of the person who runs the YouTube channel BB Ki Vines?”.
Meanwhile, Bhuvan Bam last appeared in Taaza Khabar 2, which premiered in September last year on Disney+Hotstar. Himank Gaur directed the action comedy, which is produced by BB Ki Vines Production. The show also features Mahesh Manjrekar, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Shilpa Shukla, Nitya Mathur, Prathamesh Parab, and Deven Bhojani.
