A case has been registered against the three accused under several sections of the BNS and the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.

NEW DELHI
The Delhi police on Monday arrested three persons, including two minors, near the Signature Bridge in north Delhi’s Wazirabad for slaughtering two cows.
A case has been registered under Sections 325 (harm to animals), 195 (assaulting or obstructing a public servant) and 299 (insulting religious feelings) of the BNS and Section 11 (treating animals with cruelty) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, at the New Usmanpur police station, an officer said.
According to the officer, two cow carcasses were found in possession of the accused persons along with slaughtering tools, syringes and medicine bottles.
“They were preparing to transport the carcasses in a four-wheeler,” he said.
