Back-to-back losses have pushed the Windsor Express out of the top spot in the Basketball Super League.

The Express trailed by double digits after the first quarter and never recovered in a 113-84 road loss to the Pontiac Pharaohs on Sunday.
Latin Davis had 19 points to pace the Express (10-5) while Zavier Turnver came off the bench and finished with 18 points and 10 assists. Cameron Gaines had 14 points and Mike Bruce added 11 points against the Pharaohs (7-10).

Degelas powers Flyers
Brayden Degelas had four goals and added an assist as the Leamington Flyers rolled to a 10-2 road win over the Georgetown Raiders on Saturday in Ontario Junior Hockey League action.
Colton Smith had two goals and added three assists to also finish with a five-point game along with Ethan Walker, who had a goal and four assists for the Western Conference-leading Flyers (39-6-2-1). Cade Bell added a pair of goals against the Raiders (18-22-2-4) with Gavin Grudner netting the other.
Vipers edge Nationals
Captain Owen Findlay snapped a tie with the lone goal of the third period as the LaSalle Vipers earned a 3-2 win over the London Nationals in Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League play on Sunday.
Joseph Gingras and Max Brocklehurst added single goals for the Vipers (25-17-1-0) while goalie Jake Windbiel made 27 saves against the Nationals (27-12-2-1).
Admirals beat Kings
The Amherstburg Admirals scored two-unanswered goals in the third period to slip past the Dresden Kings on Saturday in Bill Stobbs Division play in the Provincial Junior Hockey League.

Rory Sandison and Jack Bulmer scored third-period goals in a 3-2 win over the Dresden Kings. Brett Jones, who assisted on both third-period goals, had the other goal for the fourth-place Admirals (20-18-1-2) against the seventh-place Kings (10-28-1-1).
Molson Masters field
For the first time in tournament history, two Toronto-area bowlers have claimed top spot for the finals of the 69th Molson Masters.
Toronto’s Skip Lyttle will carry the top seed into Saturday’s step-ladder final in the Open Division. Mike Snow has the second spot with London’s Ryan Trussler third while defending champion Darren Alexander, in the fourth spot, will face fifth-place qualifier Corey Forfitt, who won his group by a single pin after eight games in match play.
In the Senior Division, Toronto’s Joe Amaral has the top spot ahead of 2016 champ Charlie Yott. The first match will see third seed and 1992 champ Ken Pinkowski face fourth seed Chris Woodman, who is making his first senior appearance.
Williams grabs gold
Breanna Williams has earned spot with Canada’s Special Olympics Team.

The 16-year-old Williams captured gold in solo figure skating at the Special Olympics Canada Winter Games in Calgary.
With the victory, Williams secured a spot on the Canadian team, which will take place March 5-18 in Turin, Italy.
Lancer basketball splits
The Windsor Lancers have secured the West Division title.
Windsor claimed its eighth win in a row on Saturday with a 78-64 win over the Western Mustangs in London. With it, the Lancers clinched first place in the West Division of OUA women’s basketball and a playoff bye into the quarter finals.
Kali Grootenboer had 20 points to lead the Lancers (16-4), who held a one-point lead at halftime on the Mustangs (11-9) before pulling away in the second half.
The men’s team, which could have taken over first place in the West Division, lost a back-and-forth match to the Mustangs by an 81-77 count.
Emanuel Otong had 16 points to lead the Lancers (11-9). Luke Grace added 14 points and 11 rebounds against the Mustangs (13-7). Simeon Smith finished with 13 points, Lorenzo Barbieri added 11 points and Yohann Sam had 10 points.

The Windsor Lancers jumped to a three-goal lead before holding on for a 3-2 road win over the Nipissing Lakers in OUA men’s hockey action on Saturday. The women’s team fell 2-1 to the Guelph Gryphons.
For the men, Keegan McMullen, Ty Toews and Matt McNamara scored single goals for the Lancers (15-11-0-0) while Max Donoso made 37 saves against the Lakers (8-16-0-2).
For the women, Maggi DeWolf-Russ had the lone goal for the Lancers (14-7-3-1) against the West Division-leading Gryphons (18-4-2-0), who ended Windsor’s three-game winning streak.
Saints basketball sweep
The St. Clair Saints wrapped up regular-season OCAA basketball play with a win for both the men’s team and women’s team.
The men’s team rolled to a 124-85 win over the Redeemer Royals. The Saints (16-2) finished in second place in the West Division. Jacob Masters had 30 points for St. Clair with Mazin Tiea scoring 16 points. Ethan Reid-Massiah added 15 points off the bench while Darnelle Peddie finished with 12 points, Amari Frye added 11 points and 12 assists and Kyle Brown-Fazekas also scoring 11 points against the Royals (3-15).

The women’s team scored a solid 79-50 win over the Royals. Ava Proskos had 19 points to lead the Saints (6-10), who finished sixth in the West Division, while Kaelyn Batten added 17 points against the Royals (4-12).
Saints volleyball sweep
The St. Clair Saints men’s volleyball team scored a major OCAA playoff upset.
The Saints, who finished eighth in the West Division, upset the Georgian Grizzlies, who finished first in the East Division and were ranked No. 10 nationally.
The Saints took Saturday’s match 3-2 by scores of 25-22, 28-26, 21-25, 27-29 and 15-12.
Kale Wilkinson finished with 22 kills, two service aces and two stuff blocks for the Saints, who now move on to quarter-final play, while Zach Walls added 20 kills, two service aces and two stuffed blocks.
The women’s team, which finished second in the West Division, easily advanced to quart-final play with a sweep of the George Brown Huskies. The Saints took the match 3-0 by scores of 25-12, 25-23 and 25-15 with Geneva Huisman leading the way with 11 kills and two stuff blocks.
