Several people have been injured in an explosion at a resort in Maui, according to local media reports.
Maui Police Department said it was responding to “a miscellaneous accident” that occurred around 6:15 p.m. local time at 2481 Kāʻanapali Parkway.
“At this time, no evacuations are being conducted. We ask the public to avoid the area while first responders work the investigation,” a police statement said.
