Adventure Awaits in Split Fiction
Electronic Arts and Hazelight Studios have released a brand-new trailer for their upcoming title, Split Fiction. This video highlights the return of Hazelight’s signature feature, Friend’s Pass, which lets players share the co-op adventure with a friend for free using just one copy of the game. Check out the official trailer below.
Friend’s Pass is making a comeback in the game, now with crossplay support. This makes it easier than ever for players to team up across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Even if neither player owns the game, you can still jump into a free co-op trial and experience Hazelight’s signature teamwork-focused gameplay. Want to know more? Check out the latest blog post for all the details on how Friend’s Pass works.
In Split Fiction, two players take on the roles of fantasy writer Zoe and sci-fi author Mio. These two opposites must work together to escape a simulation built from their own stories. As they explore ever-changing sci-fi and fantasy worlds, players will solve challenges and adapt to new environments. All while strengthening their teamwork in this fully cooperative adventure.
The game will be launching on 6 March 2025. It will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and the EA app. The standard price will be $49.99 and players will require a free EA Account to use the Friend’s Pass feature. And if you don’t have anyone to play with, you can search for a partner in the “Looking for Player” channels on the Hazelight Discord server.
