A suspect is facing several charges, including drug trafficking after a vehicle crashed on Highway 401 in Leeds and Grenville United Counties early Thursday.
Police said they were informed of a single-vehicle crash at about 2:30 a.m.
The car was found unattended and obstructing traffic.
The suspect was later located nearby and arrested.
They were found to be in possession of about 90 grams of suspected fentanyl “as well as items typically associated with drug trafficking.”
The suspect faces several charges. They were remanded into custody.
