Can someone please tell me what I am missing? The Liberals, with Mark Carney running to become party leader, are actually making a slight comeback, and I am at a complete loss as to why.
Carney has already laid out his strategy, including removing the carbon tax you pay every day and replacing it with an industrial one. It changes nothing. Now add that to the fact that the same group of incompetent misfits will still be running the country and, voilà, it’s the exact same recipe that got us into this mess.
I really do have a sign at the end of my laneway that I put up 10 years ago, and it says, “If you vote Liberal, you are probably at the wrong address.” Should the Liberals get in again, I am closing the gate and putting a lock on it because I really don’t know who to trust anymore.

TRUDEAU — WITH POLISH
Liberals and some in mainstream media are now promoting Mark Carney as the only person capable of combating Trump tariffs. He is our “ saviour” — really!
Carney is simply a grey-haired version of Justin Trudeau. If you didn’t like or approve of what Trudeau has done to Canada in the nine or so years he has been in power, don’t be naïve or gullible enough to fall for Carney’s line that he is different, “an outsider.”
What you will get with him is more of the same, no matter how hard he tries to sugar-coat it.
Carney is simply a more slick, sophisticated, polished member of the Canadian elite class who, like Trudeau, has no comprehension of the financial struggles of ordinary citizens. His double-talking skills are well honed, especially when it comes to the topic of carbon taxes.

THEY FORGET SO EASILY
A few months ago, close to 70 per cent of Canadians wanted the worst prime minister in Canadian history, Justin Trudeau, gone and wanted an election. Now that Trudeau is slowly running away with his tail between his legs, certain Canadians are jumping back on the Liberal bandwagon thinking everything is going to be great again.
It’s amazing how these people can so easily forget the damage the Liberal party has done to our country in the past 10 years.
New leader, same incompetent Liberals.
