- Extremely comfortable to wear
- Great battery life
- Use the app to change soundscapes
When it comes to a pair of headphones, there are lots of options out there. Edifier is known for its quality and is a household brand, so I was excited to see the Edifier WH950NB wireless, noise-cancelling over-ear headphones. They look sleek, especially in the creme colour.
Edifier WH950NB Looks
As mentioned, I really do like the look of these headphones. There is slight texturing on the outside of the earcups, resembling creme leather, which feels luxurious. They are very soft feeling on my ears, and everything is comfortable. The ear cups fold in and pivot, allowing you to wear them comfortably and store them in the included case. I like that these came with a little case that has a pocket for the charging wires, along with plenty of room to fit them in.

There are buttons and a charging port on the right-hand ear cup, with a volume button to switch on noise cancelling and a connecting button. The left-hand side has a wired port in case you want to use the Edifier WH950NB in that mode.
Sound and Edifier Connect App
When it comes to the sound itself, you can actually connect this pair of headphones through Bluetooth to two devices at once, if that’s something you want to do. The sound itself is great, and as a safety feature, you can use the Edifier Connect app to set safe-volume mode, which feels good for a headset that is easy to wear for lengths at a time.
Within the app, you can also select different levels of noise-cancelling; low, high, ambient sound reduction and wind reduction. These modes do a good job, even when they aren’t playing music, as something that will just cancel out loud noise if you need to focus.
Within the app, you can also mess around with a few different audio profiles, creating different ones for gaming or playing music, if that’s your thing.
Battery

When it comes to battery life, it’s extremely important to me that I do not need to recharge my headset every couple of hours. Luckily, the Edifier WH950NB has up to 34 hours of battery usage, with noise cancelling turned on, and even more with it off. To make it even sweeter, you only need to charge the headset for an hour and a half from no charge to full charge, so it’s not one I am worried about when it comes to battery.
