- Endless running and gunning as a bunny!
- Hop and double-hop as the dangers keep mounting
- Run enough to take down the end-world bosses
Welcome to Off The AppStore, a weekly feature with a twist. Namely, that while these – as with all the games we cover here – are games that you can play on your phone, they’re ones that operate outside of the realms of the big two ways to play: The Google Play Store and the Apple AppStore.
That means that there might be a bit of work required in downloading alternative AppStores or APKs, or that the games can simply be played in your phone browser. We’ll make sure to detail that for each game though. Anyway, read on to find a new game or experience to play Off The AppStore.
What do you think of when you see a bunny? Looks like a cute little fluffball that just wants to be showered and smushed with cuddles… And now it has a gun. This thought may have wandered into Louminux’s mind to create Bunny Bang Bang. Seeing a bunny as an action hero is not too wild, but seeing a cute one in a colourful world while wielding supreme firepower is a bit more so. The lovely nature has gotten out of hand with many dangerous robots spilling their power into the environment, causing all sorts of trouble.
In Bunny Bang Bang, a bunny has taken its action-hero transformation and uses it for good (relatively speaking). Finding or summoning a gun, the bunny runs through the different regions, destroying as many robots as possible. However, there’s a problem. There’s no time to stop. The bunny must keep running and gunning to reach the biggest threats before they get too big to handle. Thankfully, most of the dangers that have appeared are perfectly vulnerable to a heaping helping of bullets.

Of course, the bunny isn’t some one-trick pony, er, bunny. Its changes haven’t stopped at simple firearm training, since it has also learned the value of commerce. Coins have also appeared across nature, and the bunny is gonna grab them and beat them out of enemies. With enough coins, the bunny can buy upgrades for itself and its gear to make it a better hero. This shop will be a popular destination as the bosses awaiting you at the end of each area get more brutal and supernatural… but not bulletproof.
The main drawback is that Bunny Bang Bang is still in beta and doesn’t even have sounds or music. However, this is just a chance to add audio from your various systems or your head as you keep this bunny hopping. It already looks and feels good with an almost frustrating challenge that makes you want to anger win, so it’ll be cool to see its final form.
