There are only two politicians in Canada right now who are using common sense in their approach to President Donald Trump’s tariffs: Alberta Premier Danielle Smith and federal Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre.
North America is coming to grips with the departure of two incompetent leaders in Joe Biden and Justin Trudeau, who have left their respective countries nearly bankrupt, both economically and socially. Poor leaders do not attract competent members for cabinet positions and this was never more evident in both countries.
Trump now has a Herculean job ahead in overcoming a $37-trillion debt and restoring world peace at the same time, and Canada is going to bear the brunt of some of his tough decisions to save his country.

There will have to be a reawakening in Canada, which can be a good thing as we have, for too long, been a joke to the world with this woke type of governance. The Liberal party got us into this mess and it’s time for it to take a long hiatus, as did Kim Campbell’s Conservatives when they likewise went off the tracks.
The Joe Canada jingle of huff and puff patriotism doesn’t help with what we as a country may face. We need a leader and government that instil confidence and a vision for the future. Photo opps, nice hair and carbon taxes be damned.

DESERVE WHAT WE GET
We Canadians deserve all we get from Donald Trump.
Here we are, nine years later, going to re-elect a party that has damaged our country maybe beyond repair. All because the same clowns who put us in this position have a new leader about whom we know little. We do know, however, that he was advising Justin Trudeau, and look what we have.

Bring it on, Trumper.

SO YOU DO NEED US, DONALD?
I thought Donald Trump said America doesn’t need anything from Canada, including energy. So why, then, did he throw a tantrum over Ontario taxing the electricity we send the Americans’ way?
He doesn’t give a flip about destroying our car industry and economy, which will affect millions of lives here, so why should Ontario care about the American homes that will be impacted by us defending our own interests?
Looks like the new orange king may need something from us after all!
