Trump basically threw out a lifeline and only the Liberals were smart enough to latch onto it immediately. If the Conservatives want to regain power, they better start connecting with the public to find out what they can do to get Canadians back onside with them or we could end up being screwed for another four years.

(The Liberals are certainly getting some good mileage out of Trump)
Flushing money away
If the Liberals hadn’t cancelled Northern Gateway or Energy East, Canada would be cash rich right now. We’d have an “Energy Port” in Eastern Canada where we would be selling oil and LNG to Europe. We’d be actually in the position where we could crank up energy exports to both the Atlantic and Pacific sides of Canada and even cut off oil going to America that would bring Donald Trump to his knees (without crippling the Alberta oil industry which is how the Liberals have now screwed Alberta and Canada currently). They say better late than never, and the clock is now ticking on these “New Liberals” to see if they’ll announce a pipeline from Alberta to Tidewater, New Brunswick, before the end of March 2025. If they don’t, Albertans will brand Carney’s Liberals as the same old Anti-Alberta Anti-Oil Liberals. Albertans and Western Canada will not be the April Fools who ever vote for the Liberals again. A vote for the Liberals will be a vote for a Cash-Poor Canada!

(We’re skeptical whether the ‘new’ Liberals will learn from those past missteps)
Not PM yet
Mr. Carney was voted as leader of the Liberal party, not as prime minister! Until an election is called, he should not be called prime minister, nor should he be representing the people of Canada. Mr Carney, call an election and let the people have their say!

(Sounds like it’s coming soon)
Support blue
Most Albertans support the Conservatives both federally and provincially. What we cannot understand is why Ontario supports the Conservatives provincially and the Liberals federally. Strange as you have such a strong federal political leader in Pierre Poilievre?

(It’s a fair question. Let’s hope this is the election the tradition changes)
