Minister for Housing and Urban Development S. Muthusamy distributed a nutritional kit to a woman in Erode in Tamil Nadu on Saturday.

Minister for Housing and Urban Development, S. Muthusamy, inaugurated a Varumun Kappom (preventive healthcare) camp on Saturday at Thindal Karaparai Corporation Primary School. He also distributed nutrition kits to pregnant women and medical kits to beneficiaries under the Makkalai Thedi Maruthuvam scheme.
In the presence of Collector Raja Gopal Sunkara, Erode (East) MLA V.C. Chandhirakumar, and Mayor S. Nagarathinam, the Minister inaugurated the camp, where doctors conducted screenings and provided medicines.
Later, he inaugurated three additional classrooms constructed at Periyavalasu Corporation High School at a cost of ₹40 lakh and a plastic drinking water tank at Pillaiyar Kovil Street, installed at ₹3.60 lakh. The officials also inspected the Arulmigu Velayutha Swamy Thirukovil at Thindal in preparation for road construction.
