Re: Carney orders review of F-35 fighter jet purchase from U.S.’s Lockheed Martin, online, March 15
Hey, Defence Minister Bill Blair. Fly Scandinavian, not American.
Our economy is controlled by the United States; why should our military aircraft be, too?
How about we complete the current contract and switch to the Saab JAS 39 Gripen? It is fully NATO interoperable (assuming we get around to paying our membership dues). Better to do business with the Swedes than with the Americans.
Or maybe we can pull up the plans for that Avro Arrow that we so cleverly cancelled in 1959, thus gutting any initiative for an independent Canadian military aircraft.
Let’s not make more mistakes.

Re: Carney orders review of F-35 fighter jet purchase from U.S.’s Lockheed Martin, online, March 15
I am not surprised that the new leader of the Liberal party, in one of his very first acts as prime minister, is sticking his nose into military procurement, i.e. the F-35 fighter jet purchase.
It’s no wonder it takes so long and costs so much more than it should to get any new military equipment.

MORE OF THE SAME
Complacent Canadians allowed the Trudeau government to run roughshod during the past decade, infringing on freedoms and piling up a mountain of deficits and debt. Now we have more of the same as coronated Prime Minister Mark Carney, elected by the Liberals and not all Canadians, repeated the exact same photo-op boondoggle trip Justin Trudeau took just three weeks ago. Again it was to meet fellow globalists: French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

Let’s hope Canadians think long and hard before voting in the next federal election. Time to stop Canada’s downward spiral by refusing to elect another World Economic Forum globalist!

CAREER POLITICIAN NOT BAD THING
I find it odd that one of the biggest knocks that the Liberal Party can come up with against Pierre Poilievre is that he has spent his entire working career as a politician.
Not sure why this should hurt Pierre much; after all, if I were going in for a brain surgery, I would want the most experienced surgeon, not the former dentist who has decided he would like a career change.
Just remember: The former dentist was also a guiding influence on the former dramatic arts teacher, and we all know how that turned out.
