OXFORD City all but mathematically guaranteed Vanarama National League North safety after a 3-1 win on the road against Farsley Celtic, a result which also relegated the hosts.
Hoops goalkeeper Laurie Walker made a routine save early on, while at the other end, City had a goal waved away when keeper Will Brook fell on the ball on the goal line.
The Hoops took the lead just after the midway point of the first half, as Zac McEachran was afforded too much space, and he slotted in a bouncing ball for his 10th league goal of the season.
Tom Scott had two-long range efforts, while Phil Croker also went close for City in the first half.

The advantage was doubled two minutes into the second period though, when Croker flicked home a Josh Ashby corner.
Within 60 seconds though, Farsley hit back via a stunning strike from Joao Silva.
Jayden Carbon, Lewis Coyle and Scott all went close to re-establishing the two-goal advantage, and with 18 minutes to play, the Hoops did just that.
Carbon wriggled through and pulled the ball back for Ashby, who struck the all-important third goal for City.
Curzon Ashton’s 3-2 win at Needham Market pretty much put the seal on the Hoops’ survival elsewhere, but City have put in the hard yards themselves in recent weeks.
A 7-0 defeat at home against Buxton has led to a six-game unbeaten run since, with four victories picked up during that streak, leaving them 15 points clear of Rushall Olympic, the only side in the bottom four who can catch them, with five matches to go for both.
