Caldera Interactive has revealed a new story trailer for The Rabbit Haul, a cozy farming sim that meets tower defense adventure. This came out as part of the Earth Appreciation Festival 2025 on Steam (April 1 to 8). The event highlights games where nature plays a central role, either through harmony or as a cautionary tale.
Set to launch on PC and Switch in 2026, The Rabbit Haul puts you in the paws of a determined cottontail trying to rebuild a hometown destroyed by the greedy Trash Panda Posse. By day, you will plant crops, gather resources, and grow defensive plants to keep your farm safe. Careful placement is key, as combining the right plants creates powerful synergies that can turn the tide in your favor.
When night falls, it is time to defend your haul. The Trash Panda Posse will not hold back, and each wave brings stronger enemies looking to snatch your hard-earned riches. Upgrading your defenses and weapons is essential if you want to withstand their relentless attacks.
Every playthrough unfolds differently in this sprawling, randomly generated world. Explore, complete quests, and uncover hidden treasures that help you rebuild and strengthen your town. Between runs, unlock new merchants, upgrade your towers, and refine your strategy. With a variety of weapons, defensive options, and crops to master, there is always a new way to approach the challenge.
