The Loose Women star shared an update on her and her husband Joe Swash’s new reality show
Stacey Solomon has shared an update on her and her husband Joe Swash’s reality show as she revealed how fans can get an ever closer look inside the couple’s family life.
The pair have opened up their home to the cameras for the first time to follow them as well as their children in what is being described as a “refreshing, honest take on their modern blended family”.
The first episode of six aired on Tuesday night (April 1), which kicked off as Joe served Stacey breakfast in bed as they celebrated their second wedding anniversary.
With Joe taking two of their young children out shopping for an anniversary gift, Stacey was seen with a tired Rose and began to share the story of how her and Joe first met.
The rest of the episode saw the couple juggling work and childcare, Stacey being firm with her older children over their chores, and the Solomon-Swash’s heading off on a big family holiday to Turkey alongside Stacey’s dad, sister and half-brother.
And fans can now get even more from the Solomon-Swash’s on social media. Taking to her Instagram Story, Stacey informed her millions of followers that the show now has its own dedicated Instagram page.
She posted a video in which Joe was vowing to get into shape to surprise his wife with his new bod and was seeing given a rowing machine ago – with interesting results.
Alongside the post, Stacey wrote: “And as you can imagine, that’s the one & only time he got on that rower [crying laughing emoji]. It’s the socks for me [crying laughing emojis].”
She added: “They’ve made a Instagram for all of the behind-the-scenes bit for anyone who wants to see them,” before adding a face holding back tears emoji and white love heart and tagging ‘@staceyandjoe.tv’.
It came after Stacey took to social media earlier in the day to speak about the reaction so far to the new series and to share her thanks to her loyal following for their support.
Taking to her Instagram Story on Wednesday (April 2) with a video from her garden as she got to work on her next outdoor project, she said: “I said I’d come on her today because I really wanted to have a chat with you all about yesterday and the show and everything…
“First of all, honestly, your messages… I’ve tried to reply to all of your Stories, every single Story that your tagging me in I’m trying to respond because they are so nice and so kind and so heart-warming.
“Sometimes I don’t think you realise what that means. To have that feedback, right there of people saying they really enjoyed it, it made you happy, it made you smile, like, that is such privilege to have…”
The Sort Your Life Out host went on: “Something goes out and you don’t know what people are thinking but you lot message, tag, share things with me – good or bad – and I always listen and the feedback from last night was so bloody lovely, it’s made my day. I’m so grateful and I’m trying, and I will, reply to every single Story that I’m tagged in because they are just so, so nice.
“I just wanted to say thank you. We got the viewing figures in from the channel and 2.5 million of you watched it last night at 8 o’clock and some of you are still watching it now so yeah, just thank you so much.
