- Bad Credit? No Problem! puts you in the shoes of a loan agent
- Process title loan applications, and question your own moral and ethical boundaries
- Is the lure of a full-time job too much for you? Or will you crumble under pressure?
What do you call a game where you stamp papers, examine documents and make life-changing decisions for people under your power? Games like Papers, Please, for example? Bureaucracy simulators? Well, you’ll have plenty of time to ponder that quandary with developer Foorbyte’s new project, No Credit? No Problem!
As you might have guessed, No Credit? No Problem! sees you thrust into the role of a part-time title loan (a type of loan where applicants put up their car as collateral) agent. As you might’ve guessed, your job includes filling out paperwork, processing applications, interviewing applicants and possibly ruining their lives.
Wait, what? Yes, this is one of those games that’ll confront you with plenty of ethical and moral boundaries, and ask whether you’re willing to cross them. Is the lure of a full-time job with Title 4 Cash so tempting you’ll forsake your own morals for it? Or will the industry crush you like it’s crushed so many others?
More money, more problems
We reckon that whether you like Bad Credit? No Problem! will depend on whether you like grappling with moral issues in your games. That and whether the, admittedly quite gripping, pleasure of filing paperwork and sorting it in a game is your sort of thing.
Bad Credit? No Problem! will hit iOS and Android on August 8th, and is available to pre-register now!
