- Dragon Ball Project: Multi is the newest multiplatform DBZ game from Bandai Namco
- It features 4v4 MOBA-style gameplay between DBZ characters
- Take out enemies and fight to be first to grab the dragon ball
Bandai Namco has unveiled the latest game in their Dragon Ball Z lineup, with Dragon Ball Project: Multi. They’ve also unveiled a trailer and details on upcoming regional tests, so suffice it to say there’s a lot to unpack about what this game has in store for fans and well, everyone else.
First of all, the gameplay. From what we can see in the trailer this looks to be a 4v4 MOBA, what with the isometric perspective. The focus is, as you might’ve guessed, on acquiring Dragon Balls, and fans will be glad to see the average roster lineup of fan favourites like Buu and Future Trunks alongside mainstays Goku and Vegeta.
But, apart from that, details are a bit scant at the moment. We do know that regional tests will take place in Canada, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, United Kingdom and the United States from Monday, August 19th to Tuesday 20th. Sign-ups are open on the official Dragon Ball Project: Multi website.

You definitely can’t call the above trailer boring, but it certainly hits you with a lot of information at once. That and the first regional test being such a relatively brief period of only about a day has us curious but cautious. After all, virtually every anime fan knows that Bandai Namco can burn you as often as it releases a great game.
We’ll keep you updated with the details of the Dragon Ball Project: Multi as they emerge!
