For one day, the chain is offering a replacement for the ice cream lost to this summer’s record high temps, the company announced. That means if your ice cream from any ice cream shop melts before you can eat it, you can get a new scoop for free on the Baskin Robbins smartphone app — no proof of melt needed.
To cash in on the promotion, customers will need to download the Baskin Robbins app and create an account if they don’t already have one. Then, it’s as simple as adding a single scoop to your cart for pickup and entering promo code MELT at checkout. Orders placed through the app are usually available for pickup within 15 minutes.
