Torrential rainfall has caused major flooding across Spain’s Balearic Islands, prompting evacuations and forcing authorities to cancel numerous flights, Reuters reported. Spanish airport operator Aena S.A. said that more than 50 flights were canceled across airports in the Balearic Islands since the rainstorm started on Aug. 14 and delays are likely to continue.
