Two adult males are facing charges after allegedly entering vehicles on the 800 block of Maple Avenue in LaSalle Friday morning.
Police say the males, age 20 and 18, were seen by a witness entering the vehicles around 7 a.m. The witness then informed the police.
The pair were located after a brief foot chase.
Police found several pieces of stolen property in their possession, including credit cards belonging to seven different people.
Both males were later released with a court date to answer to the criminal charges. Police encourage anyone in that area who had their vehicles entered to contact the LaSalle Police Service at 519 969-5210.
Police remind drivers that the simplest way to deter thieves from stealing from your vehicle is to lock your doors and keep all valuables out of sight or bring it in your house.
