Typhoon Ampil moved closer to Japan’s main island of Honshu on Aug. 16, forcing Japan Airlines Co. and All Nippon Airways Co. to cancel some 90 international flights and 560 domestic flights, Business Standard reported. Bullet train services between Tokyo and Nagoya was halted throughout Friday.
