London-based club force LEGZDINA has shared new single ‘Bitter Truth’.
The Latvian-born artist is a true club culture sorceress, with her work flitting between system sounds and outright poetry. A noted producer and DJ who can also rap, LAGZDINA is a multi-faceted creative, someone who rejects boundaries and embraces freedom.
Out now, ‘Bitter Truth’ comes as LEGZDINA prepares to host a stage at a special Boiler Room event in her adopted home of London, and it couldn’t be better timed.
The soulful vocals drip with emotion, but there’s also a full-on junglist workout in the percussion – it doesn’t hold back, that’s for sure.
An exhalation of emotion, ‘Bitter Truth’ finds LEGZDINA holding sway in the studio, working alongside Slxm Sol and Piers of Rudimental.

A completely true story of falling in love with someone who’s got someone else but you can’t help being totally besotted and attached to them. Piers, Kesi, Slim and I wrote this as the second track in one of our first sessions together and the original keys part was very ska, reggae inspired. We slapped a little jungle break in it but really this piece is pensive. It’s rude and confronting but sweet and pensive just like life itself.
Truth is hard to process but also it sets you free, it’s an ode to asking for what you want. Sometimes you really can have your cake and eat it too. This one goes out to the one I love.
