The event includes Saskatchewan’s new poet laureate, Peace Akintade, as well as local artists Itohan Agbator and Gabbi Coloma, live painting with Geanna Dunbar, and four-piece afrobeats cover band Elev8.
In addition to art-making experiences and free tours of the Central Library’s Dunlop Art Gallery, the RPL Film Theatre is offering live commentary on “hidden gem films” with Regina-based comedian and movie lover Jayden Pfeifer.
