- Jenny LeClue is out now on the iOS App Store
- A former Apple Arcade-exclusive, it proved to be a Kickstarter darling with a successful funding campaign
- Hopefully we’ll see this intriguing detective game also hit other storefronts too
Quirky detective game Jenny LeClue – Detectivu, is now available on the iOS App Store. You may remember this Kickstarter darling when it initially made the jump to Apple Arcade after a successful campaign way back in 2019. However, it seems the game is now going to be available elsewhere after it was removed the Apple’s subscription service..
While the idea of a teen detective solving mysteries may sound cute and childish, Jenny LeClue is anything but. Whether or not it’s the moody atmosphere, the choice-driven narrative or just the fact that Jenny is trying to absolve her mother of murder, this isn’t exactly Nancy Drew.
Still, it’s clear why Jenny LeClue gained such a following. And with innovative mechanics like looking around during dialogue with other characters for clues that can steer the conversation, or the metanarrative of this technically being a story within a story narrated by author Arthur K Finklestein, Jenny LeClue is sure to grab you.

I’ve always been a bit mixed on the Apple Arcade service, mainly because I’m an Android gamer. You see all sorts of great titles that, on one hand, have sure success by being featured on Apple Arcade, but are also made unavailable to the wider gaming audience because of it.
I’m hoping that we’ll see Jenny Leclue come to further mobile platforms in the near future, as it definitely is an attention grabber.
