- Reverse: 1999’s “Farewell Rayashki” arc heads into its second phase
- The newest character is the six-star arcanist Windsong
- A researcher of ley lines and irreverent dreamer, she’s seen as an eccentric by many
Reverse: 1999 is set to introduce phase two of version 1.8, Farewell, Rayashki, with the introduction of a major new six-star character; Windsong. Bluepoch’s time-travelling RPG is making another addition to its cast of arcanists with this eccentric researcher. Not only that but there’s a whole host of other additions to keep your eye out for.
A hunter and researcher, Windsong’s study of ley lines causes others to dub her a bit of an oddball. But given the stuff we’ve already seen in Reverse: 1999, this dreamlike approach to science may not be as silly as it sounds. You can grab Windsong in the new summoning banner “The Intersecting Lines” that debuts today!
You’ll be able to celebrate Windsong’s inclusion with the new event “Boons of the Full Moon”, which runs from September 13th to 20th with plenty of great rewards to grab. Version 1.3 “Journey to Mor Pankh” will also be seeing a limited re-release as it drops between September 6th and 19th, letting those of you who didn’t get a shot at it the first time another chance.
It’s a bit chilly
While Reverse: 1999 may not be some grand upset of the typical gacha game aesthetic, I do appreciate that it tries to push the boat out a little more. And while its exploration of real-world locations and historical periods does always have that animesque flair, there’s definitely fun to be had seeing Reverse: 1999 flit around from everywhere to Australia, Vienne and now even Siberia.
And while we haven’t added Windsong (yet) our most up-to-date guide is the definitive tier list of all Reverse: 1999 arcanists! So go check out how your fave stacks up.
