Two people have been charged following an investigation into an alleged case of domestic assault in Leamington.
Essex County OPP say officers attended a scene after a report of an assault. Police have laid charges against two individuals, A 40-year-old has been charged with assault with a weapon and a 35-year-old has been charged with mischief (destroying or damaging property).
Police remind residents that victims of domestic violence are not alone. For anyone who needs support, there are local resources available to help. One organization to can contact is Victim Services of Windsor-Essex.
