The Apple Watch Series 9 was released last September, and while we’re eagerly awaiting what will be announced during Apple’s big event next week, we’re still quite contented with the Series 9. In fact, it holds a spot as the best smartwatch currently on the market. Apple products typically come with relatively high prices, and the Apple Watch Series 9 is no different. But as time goes on, we’ve found plenty of ways to save money, with discounts of $100 or more cropping up often. You can save by trading in your old watch, signing up for a new line and more.

Upgraded with a new S9 chipset, the first meaningful processor change since the Series 6, the Apple Watch Series 9 is faster and more power efficient than previous models. The S9 chip enables a new feature Apple calls Double Tap, which allows you to operate the device using just the thumb and index finger on your watch-wearing hand. Keep in mind that Apple has removed the watch’s blood oxygen feature because of a patent dispute. There might still be some with the feature enabled at various retailers, so make sure to check for that if it’s important to you. We’ve built a list of the best possible prices — and we’ll be updating it too. Be sure to check back if you don’t see a deal that hits the spot today.
The 2023 Apple Watch is also the first to include on-device Siri commands, new Ultra Wideband capabilities and a brighter display for better outdoor visibility. A new pink aluminum color is available now as well.
