- FAU-G, the Indian-made 5v5 multiplayer title, is now open for pre-registration
- It’s currently confirmed to reach Android, with iOS at a later date
- FAU-G follows an elite Indian black-ops team running through simulated training exercises
Indian-made shooter FAU-G: Domination by nCore Games has opened pre-registration. If you’re looking to play FAU-G on release you can currently pre-register on Android with iOS set to be unveiled at a later date. This 5v5 shooter is set to release at a later date, with the developer working to bring it to a variety of platforms.
As you might’ve expected, FAU-G is a modern multiplayer military shooter that boasts a number of maps and realistically detailed weapons. The titular FAU-G is cast as an elite black-ops unit deployed by the Indian military all over the world, a little like GI Joe.
It may be worth noting, for those of you who weren’t aware, that FAU-G is also being produced in collaboration with Indian defence firm Nibe Limited. So for some that may add to the elements of authenticity that developer nCore Games want to portray, but it may be offputting for others.
Shoot ’em up
It’s interesting to think that the modern military shooter has basically become the defacto setting even after so many decades. And while some may baulk at a game being designed in collaboration with a defence company, it should be noted it isn’t necessarily anything new. Still, it shows the new wave of enthusiasm a lot of Indian developers have for introducing the country’s armed forces into their games.
