Miami three-piece Galactic Fuzz return with massive second album ‘And The Stars’.
The group’s self-titled album landed in October 2022, melting together fuzzed out psych-rock riffs with some indie styled songwriting. Compared to Dinosaur Jr due to those heavy duty guitars – and the power trio format – the band also nod to Wilco, with their astute musicality and lyrical yearning.
Touring their debut album across North America, Galactic Fuzz returned to Miami to focus on a follow-up let last year. Booking time at Green Door Recordings in Denver, new album ‘And The Stars’ is a love letter to rock, and all its primal power.
A crisp 10-tracker that flirts with the lysergic, the sheer muscular heft behind Galactic Fuzz makes for a breathless, bracing listen.
The band comment…
’And the Stars’ is a journey through the many shades of rock music, crafted during an unforgettable experience at Green Door Recordings in Denver. We spent our days working nonstop in the studio and our nights sleeping in the basement, fully immersed in the process.
The result is a collection of tracks that range from hard-hitting, high-energy rock to mid-tempo acoustic tunes perfect for a laid-back vibe. We also explored trippy, down-tempo songs that offer a mesmerizing escape, along with an acoustic interlude that adds a delicate touch. This album reflects our passion for pushing the boundaries of rock, and we can’t wait for you to hear it.
Tune in now.
