Honkai: Star Rail fans will be pleased to find that the mid-week isn’t quite as glum as it is for most of us. And that’s because version 2.5 of MiHoYo’s hit ARPG has finally arrived! experience the eagerly-awaited war dance ceremony and more as the latest storyline reaches its climax. So let’s dig into what version 2.5 has to offer!
We covered the arrival of the new characters and the introduction of the war dance ceremony just at the end of August. But a brief recap: We’ll see the arrival of three new characters with the five-star Feixiao, the five-star Lingsha and finally the four-star Moze. All three of them have been highly-anticipated by fans. There’s also the Wardance Ceremony and its variety of events.
But what we didn’t get a chance to mention last time is how this latest update will also feature the climax of the Shackling Prison arc. While a special warp event will see the temporary return of the five-star characters Robin, Black Swan and Kafka (not the writer) to rotation. The second half of version 2.5 will also see the return of the five-star Topaz for a limited period as well.
All aboard
As one of MiHoYo’s current “big three” of games alongside Genshin Impact and Zenless Zone Zero, Honkai: Star Rail has managed to hold its own with its sci-fantasy setting and extensive roster. The new story arc conclusion and the arrival of some highly-anticipated characters will, I’d predict, only help cement that.
