Nottinghamshire have re-signed seam bowler Rob Lord on a two-year deal.
The 23-year-old joined the Trent Bridge outfit on a short-term contract prior to the One Day Cup competition, taking 11 wickets at 22.63 during the tournament.
He also played in Notts’ subsequent County Championship matches against Surrey and Essex.
“I’m obviously delighted to extend my time here,” Lord told the club’s website, external.
“It’s been a great, supportive group to come into over the last few months, and I have learned a lot about myself through the work I’ve done with the coaches and exposure to first-team cricket.”
Notts head to Kent for their next County Championship match on Tuesday, 17 September.
