The Regina Police Service (RPS) is looking for information after a pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run on Friday afternoon.
Around 4:20 on Friday, police and first responders were called to the intersection of Victoria Avenue and Atkinson Street, after receiving a report that a vehicle had struck a pedestrian in that area.
“Preliminary investigation at the scene indicated that the victim was struck by a dark sedan, which then fled the scene eastbound on Victoria Avenue,” police said in a news release.

Police say the man’s injuries don’t seem to be life-threatening, and he was taken to the hospital.
Now, police are asking “eye-witnesses, security camera footage, or those in the area that may have dashboard camera footage” to help them find the dark sedan.
Anyone with information that could assist in this investigation is asked to contact the RPS at 306-777-6500 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
