Windsor police are asking the public to check video surveillance for possible leads after a second shooting in an east-end neighbourhood within a 24-hour period.
The first incident happened around 7 a.m. on Thursday, when multiple shots were fired at a residence in the 1500 Block of Monticello Street near Firgrove Drive in the Riverside area.
Investigators discovered multiple bullet holes in the exterior of the residence.

A white cube van that was seen leaving the area at the time of the first incident was also found nearby a short time later with damaged caused by fire, according to police.
Officers were called to the 1600 block of Monticello Street just before 9 p.m. on Thursday after witnesses reported additional shots being fired in the area.
“Witness statements and video surveillance footage have indicated that a second shooting had transpired,” said police in a release. “However, no physical evidence of the shooting has been located.”
No injuries were reported as a result of these incidents.
Investigators continue to ask residents in the immediate area of both incidents to check their video surveillance or dashcam footage for evidence.
