- Groups have been drawn for the 2024 PMGC
- 48 teams have been divided into three groups, matches begin on October 31st
- Finals in December in London with $3,000,000 up for grabs
The 2024 PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) is all set to kick off, and this year promises intense competition as 48 of the top teams from across the globe battle it out for a piece of the $3,000,000 prize pool. The event, one of the biggest in PUBG Mobile Esports, will culminate with the Grand Finals held at London’s iconic ExCeL Centre in December.
The League Stages for this year’s PMGC begin on October 31st and will run until November 24th. The stakes are higher as teams are divided into groups and only the top three teams from each group will advance directly to the finals. Losing is not an option as the bottom five squads will be eliminated from the tournament.
That leaves us with the remaining eight teams, who will head to the Survival Stage, where they’ll get one last chance to qualify for the final showdown. The ultimate goal is to be one of the 16 teams left standing to compete in front of a live audience from December 6th to 8th for the 2024 PMGC Champion title.
For those not in the esports scene but still wanting a taste of competition, the battle royale has introduced the Ultimate Royale esports path. This new system offers amateur players a shot at greatness by competing in ranked modes. The top 500 players from the Ultimate Royale leaderboard will have a chance to shine, with the top European player from Season 1 receiving a special invitation to experience the Grand Finals live in London.
