Might 4—RAYMOND — A Manchester girl faces a number of costs after police say she drove an SUV greater than 100 mph with unbuckled youngsters inside.
Shortly after 9 p.m. Friday, a state trooper with the Troop A barracks noticed a Chevrolet Tahoe SUV on Route 101 westbound in Raymond, in keeping with a Saturday information launch from New Hampshire State Police. The trooper reportedly witnessed the car weaving out and in of visitors and reaching speeds as excessive as 112 mph.
After stopping the car, the trooper discovered two baby passengers, ages 1 and 4, not buckled in or secured in automobile seats, in keeping with the discharge.
Police recognized as the motive force as Shirley Stanley, 23, the mom of the 2 youngsters.
Stanley was arrested and charged with reckless operation, two counts of endangering the welfare of a kid, two counts of violating required baby passenger restraints, failure to yield to an emergency car, unsafe lane change, following too intently, and rushing, police stated.
She was launched on private recognizance bail and is scheduled to seem in Candia District Court docket at 8 a.m. June 10.
