Tom Brady recently traded the gridiron for the hardwood, and things did not go exactly how the NFL legend would have hoped.
The 47-year-old and his eldest child – 17-year-old Jack – hit Lifetime Sky in New York City for a pickup basketball run documented on Brady’s YouTube page.
And the teenager got the better of his dad a couple of times as the seven-time Super Bowl winner and his son played on opposing teams.
At one point, Brady tried to chase down Jack for a block during a fast break, but missed as his son scored an easy layup.
Another moment shows Brady go for a steal with Jack driving through the lane, only for his son to get by him for another score.

However, he later got some payback when he scored on Jack on the other end of the court
Brady did get the better of Jack at least one time, as the video showed him cutting past him without the ball before converting a layup.
Nonetheless, he was clearly a bit humbled when asked by an off-camera voice how he felt about his performance.
‘Not quite like I remember it,’ he said, before admitting that Jack’s basketball ability was superior to his.
The ultra-competitive Brady also slammed the ball off the wall at one point, though he was ultimately all smiles when interviewed after his game.
Since retiring from football for a second (and final) time in February 2023, Brady has remained around the game both as a Fox NFL broadcaster and minority owner of the Raiders (the latter deal was closed last month).
However, the ex-quarterback’s uncommon dual roles have drawn extensive criticism, including from radio host Dan Patrick.
Brady is currently in the first year of a decade-long, $375 million deal with Fox Sports
Brady is prohibited from attending team’s practices before calling their games like most broadcasters, while his role as an owner also means he is prohibited from publicly criticizing officials.
And Patrick said recently on his show, ‘It’s problematic with Tom trying to do both of these things.’
Nonetheless, Brady will continue in his broadcasting role with his latest assignment being the Bucs’ matchup vs. the 49ers this weekend.
