Investigators are seeking the public’s help to identify a man wanted for a suspected hate-motivated assault with a weapon near Bloordale over the summer.

Toronto Police say officers responded to a call for a person with a knife in the Bloor St. W. and Dufferin Ave. area on July 22.
Police allege the victims were approached by a man who made anti-South Asian slurs before pulling out a knife and threatening them.
Cops said the victims left the area and flagged down a police officer. The victims and did not know the man.
According to police, the same man is believed to have been involved in two other similar incidents.
Investigators have released images of a suspect who is described as 5-foot-9, with a medium build, goatee and facial hair. He was wearing a navy blue and black top, navy blue shorts and a navy blue baseball cap.
