According to the Boston Herald‘s Steve Conroy, Bruins interim head coach Joe Sacco said the team held Pastrnak out of Monday’s practice due to an upper-body injury. He will travel with the team to Winnipeg for Tuesday’s game.
Pastrnak, 28, logged just under 24 minutes of ice time and recorded an assist on the game-winning goal during Boston’s overtime win over the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday, so it is unclear when the injury might have occurred.
The Czech forward has nine goals and 18 assists in 29 games this season.
Currently skating in his 11th NHL season, Pastrnak played in all 82 games for the Bruins in 2022-23 and 2023-24.
Boston has won four straight games and is 7-2 since Sacco took over behind the bench.
After starting their roadie against the Jets Tuesday, the Bruins go on to face the Kraken, Canucks, Flames and Oilers before returning home on Dec. 21.
