How to play Astro Bot Winter Wonder update
Before we delve into the present locations, it’s crucial to understand how to initiate this new update. To access the Winter Wonder planet, you need to complete the game. This typically takes around 11 hours, but it might take longer if you aim to collect all items. Once you’ve conquered the game, keep an eye out for a Santa-like character on the galaxy map – that’s your cue that the Winter Wonder planet is now accessible.
Approach the character and continue to follow it closely. It will then lead you to the Winter Wonder planet, featuring 15 exclusive presents.
Where to find all present in Astro Bot Winter Wonder
In the Winter Wonder planet, various golden presents are scattered around. You’ll need to give them a few good punches to open them, either providing a VIP bot, outfit, or controller skin. Since there is a lot of content to discover, we’ll break down each present location in Astro Bot.
Winter Wonder Present 1 Location
The first present will be easiest to find, as it will be shown right at the start of your playthrough.
Winter Wonder Present 2 Location
After picking up the first present, approach the ability chest ahead to obtain the Time Stopper. Use it to stop the platforms from moving and hop on top to get across. Defeat the slime enemy, and stop time again to pull the wires on the present.
Winter Wonder Present 3 Location
Continue along the path of the second present, and you’ll see a glowing spot on the ground. Walk around it to remove the snow, displaying a circular robot on the ground. Use your beams from your jump to fill up the circle around it. Pick up the Monkey-D ability from the chest and utilize it to reach the following floor. Eventually, you’ll see a circular area that allows you to smash down the Monkey-D, unlocking the next present.
Winter Wonder Present 4 Location
Use the bar ahead of you from the third present to swing to the following platform. Then, utilize your spinning attack to cause the ground beneath you to crumble. Acquire the Octo-Balloon ability, and use the squid to launch yourself to the floating platforms near the large tree. Keep using the Octo-Ballon to get up higher places, and attach yourself to the present to open it.
Winter Wonder Present 5 location
After you’ve obtained the fourth present, move forward towards the lighthouse and take a left near some lights. Use the clapper ability to turn on the four lights, illuminating the tree as a result.
Slide through the red line, and you’ll eventually find a puzzle hidden in the walls. Use your jumping beam on the block with the most vibration to unlock another Astro Bot present.
Winter Wonder Present 6 location
Continue down the red line (which takes you back to the start) until you reach the platform with the same Monkey-D ability you used earlier. Go to the left side of the map, where you’ll see a present lying on the ground. Unfortunately, a ship will grab it, so you must pick up one of the rocks and throw it to bring the vessel/present down.
Winter Wonder Present 7 location
Make your way to the statue at the start and walk down to the lower floor nearby. Initiate your spinning attack and jump near the flowers, triggering a present location.
Winter Wonder Present 8 location
Move further into the planet to discover a well to the right of the stairs. Jump down it and obtain the penguin ability. Utilize it to smash a wall underwater. Progress further to discover a present in the next room.
Winter Wonder Present 9 location
You’ll find some shiny bells on the ground in the middle of the Winter Wonder map. Look around for a piece of wiring and pull it to unlock an Astro Bot present.
Winter Wonder Present 10 location
When exploring the beginning of the Winter Wonder map, you can grab the elephant ability on the left side. Suck up some yellow substance (an animal will have one to give you a boost) and start using it to hop up the squishy tower. Start sucking the substance one by one until you reach the present at the bottom.
Winter Wonder Present 11 location
You’ll see a batch of colorful bells to the right of the squishy tower. Jump to use your beam, and drop down it to claim the mouse skill. Shrink down in size and go forward into the other room. Return to normal size and pull the wiring of the glass bottle. Now, shrink down again and enter the bottle to acquire the gift next to the palm tree.
Winter Wonder Present 12 location
After you’ve earned the eleventh present, you’ll be given the chicken power-up immediately after. Head to the lighthouse and go up the side of the building. Try to reach the windowsill, then jump and use the chicken to reach the top. Pull the handle to get the present out of the snow.
Winter Wonder Present 13 location
Travel to the building with frog balloons to unlock an ability from the chest. Take advantage of the frog hands and swing across to the platforms nearby. Punch the cactus enemy to discover a slingshot. Launch yourself to the area ahead, then punch the box over there. Use the following chest to transform into a sponge and go into the body of water. Now, you can use it to spray water on the plants nearby, giving you a present when fully grown.
Winter Wonder Present 14 location
Once you’ve obtained the thirteenth present, you can grab the Muteki ball form. Launch yourself from the volcano to reach a building. Use the ball form to reach the top of this structure and go down the vent. Roll yourself to the bottom to find one of the last Astro Bot presents.
