Essex County OPP are investigating a robbery that occurred late Friday night in Leamington.

Officers were called to a disturbance around 11:05 p.m., at an address on Erie Street.
Police said a person was robbed allegedly by two or three individuals who then fled the scene in a dark-coloured sport utility vehicle.
The person who was robbed sustained what police called “non-life-threatening injuries” and was taken to hospital.
Police said there is no threat to the public as they believe it was an isolated incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
