- Rollic’s Power Slap has just hit storefronts on iOS and Android
- Bringing the concussion-inducing “sport” to mobile, it also features some famous faces
- WWE’s Rey Mysterio, Braun Strowman and more join the lineup
Rollic’s Power Slap, their turn-based take on the concussion-inducing sport of, well, slapping someone in the face until they pass out, has hit storefronts on iOS and Android. And now you’ll also be able to smack the familiar faces of some of WWE’s top superstars as they join the lineup.
If you weren’t familiar with Power Slap then, well, it’s exactly as it says on the tin. Power Slap is a pseudo-sport that sees people standing across a table and whacking each other in the skull until they pass out. People are apparently quite fond of it, although I think I’d rather play it than experience it for real.
Power Slap is also coincidentally owned by UFC president Dana White, and you may remember that WWE and UFC combined to form TKO Holdings this year. This explains why some top WWE names are now making an appearance in the full release.
Slap the taste out of your mouth
Whether that be champion luchador Rey Mysterio, giant Omos, Braun Strowman or Seth “Freaking” Rollins, you’ll be able to see your favourite WWE Superstars also smacking the stuffing out of others and each other. The full release of Power Slap promises even more content including side-quests such as PlinK.O, Slap’n Roll, and Daily Tournaments.
While in real-life Power Slap may be a bit questionable in terms of common sense, Rollic seems committed to making this adaptation of a very unusual sport something that’ll be a success. Although we’ll have to see whether top WWE faces will be enough.
