Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday toured a buffer zone in Syria that was taken by Israel following the fall of ousted Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad‘s regime.

During the tour, Netanyahu said his country’s forces would stay in the area, which includes Mount Hermon, “until another arrangement is found that will ensure Israel’s security.”
