HoYoverse has just released the latest update for Zenless Zone Zero, titled version 1.4: A Storm of Falling Stars. This new patch marks a fitting end to the year with a climactic conclusion to the ongoing chapter. With that, there are new characters to enjoy, a shift from the TV mode, and more immersive combat and exploration as well.
Zenless Zone Zero’s version 1.4 brings two key additions to the Section 6 Agents lineup. First up is Hoshimi Miyabi, known as the youngest Void Hunter. She wields her Ethereal-Slaying Katana with precision, combining swift movements and Frost Anomaly effects to overwhelm enemies. Then there’s Asaba Harumasa, an Electric Agent with a versatile combat style that allows him to seamlessly switch between bow and blade. You can use his electrifying moves as Harumasa is available for free if you’ve reached Inter-Knot level eight. In addition to that, a special OVA will help you gain insight into the enigmatic past of this character.
As the story unfolds in Chapter Five, you’ll explore the hidden truths behind the conspiracy surrounding Sacrifice and the backstories of Wise and Belle. The ongoing leadership election within New Eridu Public Security adds a layer of intrigue as you team up with Section 6 to uncover the secrets of Port Elpis, a new area featured in this update.
And if you’re looking for a challenge, then the Hollow Zero: Shadows Lost mode and Deadly Assault, a periodic operation mode, are perfect for you. These modes include updated mechanics like Bangboo Assist skills and new equipment options. You can also participate in events hosted at the Reverb Arena, with activities like a Bangboo-themed tower defence.
