It was a tense afternoon at École Valois in Prince Albert, Sask. after a bomb was reported at the school, but police now say the building is secure, there is no risk to the public and all students are safe.
Around 1:30 p.m. on Friday, police arrived at the francophone K-12 school in response to the bomb threat, but did not find a bomb in the school or on the grounds.
Therefore, “a comprehensive second search was also conducted by skilled and tactically trained officers.”

“No explosive device was located and the school is found to be safe.”
Prince Albert Police say they have already “identified and located” some of the suspects behind the hoax, but are still investigating.
