Beyoncé has trolled Netflix in a hilarious teaser trailer for her upcoming Cowboy Christmas performance.
Beyoncé looked incredible as she strummed a banjo while wearing an elaborate outfit while teasing her festive halftime act for the second NFL game on Christmas Day.
However, all was not as it seemed as the teaser trailer suddenly stopped and showed a loading screen.
This was a deliberate cheeky joke aimed at Netflix, which was made clear as the Renaissance singer could be heard giggling while the video still appeared to be buffering.
The video then quickly restored and the singer winked and smiled at the camera.
‘now hold on…’ commented Netflix on this tweet that fans are loving.
The joke was referencing the criticism recently aimed at Netflix after the Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight stream crashed during the live stream on the platform.
Thousands of people took to X to report problems with the streaming giant during the fight.
With Netflix broadcasting a major boxing event for the first time, lagging issues and frozen pictures were reported with sound problems also creeping in during coverage.
This left several fans disappointed after the fight, which was not the best start for Netflix as they introduced live sporting events to their platform.
Fans loved the cheeky joke and applauded the singer for her hilarious joke.
‘THE LOADING SCREEN LMAOOOO,’ said mekhirandle on X.
‘Do you know how much power you have to have for @netflix to approve this??’ asked ladidaix.
‘Not you making fun of netflix bugging they better not play with us tomorrow,’ said LeeLovesBey.
It has been rumoured that Beyonce is set to announce a new stadium tour that will take place in March 2025.
A source told The Sun: ‘It’s been a very tough few months for Beyoncé but she’s laser-focused on making her upcoming tour a success.
‘The next few weeks are crucial as she will announce a new album and a new tour. The announcement was supposed to happen a couple of weeks ago but it was pushed back.’
A Cowboy Carter Christmas will premiere live on Netflix on December 25.
