Trisha is no stranger to overcoming challenges. A Muluridji woman, a mother of two, and a personal trainer, Trisha has dedicated her life to inspiring others through her own remarkable journey of self-transformation. Now, she’s taking on a new adventure as she competes on The Summit.
Nearly six years ago, Trisha embarked on her personal fitness journey, shedding 25 kilos and discovering a love for trail running in the process. This transformative experience sparked a passion in her to motivate and encourage others, particularly women, to take control of their health and well-being.
“I lost 25 kilos and started my own fitness journey from trail running on country,” Trisha shared. “I want to share that experience with everyone else. It was such a phenomenal transformation, and I love getting to share that. I became a personal trainer and have now finished my hiking guide training.”
Trisha’s Journey on The Summit
With her background and expertise, Trisha feels confident about the physical demands of hiking up the summit. However, there are a few things that make her nervous. “I’m scared of green frogs and snakes,” she admitted. “I know frogs aren’t scary, but I’m terrified of them. Also, I think I’m going to miss real food and coffee. I was probably supposed to say my family, but coffee, ha ha.”
Trisha’s journey on The Summit is more than just a physical challenge; it’s an opportunity for her to showcase her resilience and inspire others. Her story is a testament to the power of determination and the impact of sharing one’s experiences to uplift and motivate those around us.
As Trisha tackles the rugged terrain and faces her fears, she carries with her the strength of her community and the spirit of transformation that has defined her journey. Her participation in The Summit is not just about reaching the peak; it’s about inspiring others to embark on their own journeys of self-discovery and transformation.
The Summit airs Monday and Tuesday at 7.00pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.
